This is a great pocket resource. It fits nicely in my lab coat and can pull it out at a moments notice. Really like how the meds are organized by disease, so if you have come through with your differential but are struggling a bit with what meds might be appropriate..boom! This book has got your back. Missing a few of the newer drugs but for the price paid this is great. Preceptors and patients alike approve since you are not pulling out your smartphone to look online or at epocrates, it's a book!
If you are used to a traditional pharmacopeia with medication separated by classes look to another resource. If you are brand new this might work for you, but i am not a fan this particular setup.
since someone stole my 2016 copy at work, I apted to buy a less expensive older but not too old copy. Great price.
I use it in my clinical setting everyday!

Stinks. I obviously thought this was a pocket sized version of the bigger one. It's not. Feh! Don't be a putz and get this one, get the Daddy sized one. Good only for your exceedingly smart kid in the 4th grade in private school in Manhattan, not for a real big shot Doctor like your grandmother expected.
A terrific little book. Doesn't contain everything imaginable but has enough to make it well worth the low cost for what it is, IMHO. On the other hand, I don't yet know how it compares to the other versions of the book where more-or-less the same total material is organized in different section than here. It's not a lot of money to find out. I suppose that clinicians with decades of experience might not find the interest and merits in this which I do. I do feel strongly about the newest editions. Also, paper feels good and the fonts fine too.
Have both the regular and this edition. I am now using this edition more. It is just easier to access material quickly and feel that looked over the options well. Faster than signing in to UptoDate and reading thorough a dozen paragraphs to find what I need.
